  13. 4 tbsp Cashew paste
  14. 3 tbsp Green chilli paste
  15. 1/2 cup Milk
  16. 2 tbsp Ghee
  17. 4 tbsp White oil
  18. Salt
  19. to taste Sugar

Steps to make to make Chicken Jambudwip

  1. Wash the chicken pieces well, drain and set aside
  2. In a bowl mix beaten curd, green chilli and ginger, garlic paste. Add some salt. Mix well.
  3. Marinate the chicken with that paste and set aside for atleast 2 hours.
  4. In a thick bottom pan add white oil and ghee. Once hot add the whole spices and bay leaves and sugar.
  5. Once the aroma releases add the gated onion, ginger and garlic marinated chicken to the oil. Saute well till it releases water.
  6. Bring down the flame to low and let it cook uncovered. Keep turning in between so that the nut pastes don't stick to the bottom of the pan. If required sprinkle a little water.
  7. Cook till the chicken is fully cooked and starts releasing ghee.
  8. Add the milk, stir well and add the saffron. Your Chicken Jambudwip is ready to be served.
  9. Serve hot with Naan and decorate with sliced onion, tomatoes and green chillies.
